As artists, we are constantly under the microscopic lens of the public. People will always have an opinion whether it’s good or bad and it’s important that one remains true to themselves throughout all of it. Making art to please others defeats the purpose of self-expression and it is important to always express oneself as authentically and honestly as possible. Never try to mold to fit a box that others want you to be in, simply be unapologetically you.
