Louise Parker is a modern country-pop singer from Essex, UK. Her move to Nashville ignited a passion and change in musical direction to the sounds you heard today, influenced by personal experiences that will relate to many.
Since the beginning of 2019, the singer songwriter has released several singles and her debut album, achieving chart success, including two #1's and more than five top tens on the UK iTunes Country Charts.
Louise has been lucky enough to play music at some incredible places. The Bluebird Café in Nashville is a venue she played twice while living in the US (made famous perhaps by the TV show ‘Nashville’ – a show that Louise also appeared in as an extra). September 2021 saw Louise not only perform but sell out her debut headline show at The Camden Chapel in London.
The new single 'Bring It On' is a fierce country song, with a dark emo twist. Written by Louise, and recorded and produced by Louise and Paul at Wave Break Studio, this song showcases Louise’s ability as a storyteller, taking you through three of the five stages of grief: anger, depression and acceptance.
“They say an image speaks 1000 words and in this case I believe that to be true. My next single was written when I was going through something really traumatic; it's about accepting myself at my very lowest and realising I'm so much stronger than I know." - Louise Parker
A little Kate Bush-esque in places, the instrumentation is 'feel good' from the start! If you weren't paying attention to the lyrical content you might not realise the pain that lies behind where Louise' heart lies when writing this song, but that pays tribute to her strong character and willingness to take bad experiences and let them motivate her! A lesson we can all learn as we journey through life!
"So bring it on...give it your all...cause your lies, they've set me free!"
