Paul Jupe releases album, 'Home Town'

Paul Jupe is a country-rock singer-songwriter from Hampshire, UK and, having toured, written and recorded internationally for 30 years as part of bands, Paul finally decided to embark on a solo career in 2020.

Since releasing his first single ‘Home Town’ in June 2020, Paul has received international radio play and has co-hosted a show on Radio Downtown, CA. This led to multiple nominations from the UK Country Radio awards and was recognized and awarded at the Fair Play Country Music Awards, Holland.

Written during the Covid Lockdown, this album has eleven songs all of which hold a special meaning for me. The songs I have written for this album are about life, love, being grateful for what we have, and the lessons learned.

From the powerful, rock-fueled tracks like ‘Late Night by the River’ and ‘My Bride’ to the emotive and delicate ballads like ‘Higher Love’ and ‘Mother’, this Album showcases the full spectrum of Paul’s capabilities.

Home Town’ is the title track of Paul’s brand new album and entices together the theme of the whole album which relates to gratefulness and thanks. Specifically, this song relates to Paul’s own acknowledgement of the beautiful, quint, country town that he gets to call home. Instrumentally, the song is an acoustic-guitar centered, traditional country ballad and, accompanied by the light piano melodies that add to the emotion and honesty, that allows the lyrical content to come to the forefront. Paul has written a song that will surely be relatable to the masses around the globe, as we all want to welcome that feeling of being at home in our hearts. Especially after the times that we have all gone through these past couple of years being separated from our love ones.

Cant wait to see my Family … All standing out on that front porch

Wanna see my Friends … I haven't seen for so Long”

Somewhere that we belong and feel safe, be it with our family or friends. And this song gives us that feeling. It transports us right to that time in our minds that we invision that happening, that happy reunion with this song blasting on the radio, driving down the road with the wind flowing through our hair. “Home town” is a song I want to listen to any time I want or need a sweet reminder of where I come from.
