When you’re writing to media contacts, make sure to get to the point quickly. As frustrating as it is, media companies get so many emails a day, that they don’t have time to read paragraphs and paragraphs about who you are and what you’re sending. Get to the point succinctly and clearly, giving the reader links to read more if they want to. Make their life easier & they’re more likely to move forward with your work.
