Tyler Dean McDowell declares "I Only Want It with You"

Tyler Dean McDowell started recording music when he was a mere child, but his taste has improved as his talent has matured. Now in his 30s, Tyler is recording great country music like someone who’s spent his life in the industry. He may have a famous dad, country singer-songwriter Ronnie McDowell, but his creativity and his style are all his own. In Feb of 2021 Tyler released his first self-penned single "Come to Nashville" and has since been releasing his authentic music, continuing to impress the fans who find him.

His newest song, “I Only Want It with You” brings out his smooth charisma. From the first opening chord, followed by steel guitar, this pure country song will hook you. Tyler’s strong voice comes in rising above the mandolin and the flawless production. He sings that he doesn’t want silver or gold, and he’s only desperate for her heart. He adds that he’s only lucky when she’s around.

The second verse mentions what he doesn’t want, like fortune and fame. He only wants to be involved in something she’s doing. He says that compared to the angels and the Hollywood beauties, she’s the only heaven that he’s seen.

Everything about this song is well-written and beautifully recorded. It builds into the second verse and repeated chorus, as the music swells. Tyler vocalizes and ad libs on the last chorus and reminds the listeners how great his baritone voice is.
